Lekhini is a personal journaling app built with privacy as its foundation. It works entirely offline on your device. We do not operate servers, databases, or cloud services that receive your data. This policy explains what that means in practice.

Lekhini does not require an internet connection to function. The app makes no network requests of any kind — no API calls, no telemetry pings, no background syncing.
Lekhini provides an export/import feature so you can back up or transfer your diary. Exported files are password-protected and saved to a location you choose on your device. This process is entirely local — no data is uploaded to any server.
Lekhini does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-processing services. There are no SDKs embedded in the app that collect or transmit user data.
Because Lekhini collects no data whatsoever, it is safe for users of all ages. No information from any user — including children under 13 — is ever collected or transmitted.
Lekhini requests only the minimal device permissions needed to function:
No other permissions (camera, microphone, contacts, location) are requested or used.
